LKISEvents: Montreal Fashion Week, The Scene, Day 1
It's that time again! September is upon us and that means one thing: Fashion! Between Tiff, Fashion Night Out, New York Fashion Week and Montreal Fashion Week, a stylish gal is definitely pulled in a few different directions! But I wouldn't miss Montreal's celebration of the fashion scene! I was once again invited as a P&G Beauty Blogger to come sit front row at Mtl Fashion Week, and I jumped at the chance. Here is the fab team of girls who takes awesome care of me!

Of course, I watched the shows and checked out a lineup of great designers on my first day (and you will be able to see more about the runway shows in the coming days on my site www.lkisstyle.com and on my facebook page www.facebook.com/lkisstyle ). But as usual, it was what goes on between the shows that really gets my trend-spotting excitment going.
At a new venue this year, the energy was palpable and it really felt like we have arrived!

The room was packed with stylish peeps and I definitely noticed that spikes and studs were a hot look. One girl had a studded vintage bustier.

Another attendee was showing off spike-y shoulders.

I also snapped spiked platforms.

It was great to see that there was tons of designer support in the audience like these girls who were wearing Martin Lim.

I also saw that the whole no-white-after-labour-day...it just doesn't apply to these fashion tastemakers.

Check out the front row: White pants spotted!

My new intern, Negar, also got the wear-white-memo in her Grecian look.

And, Quebec icon Mitsou was totally fabulous in an off-white Grecian dress, too!

I wore my new black platform boots, a turquoise tank (from Target! Fitting given that it was one of the sponsors!), a fringe leather vest along with leather shorts and a matching leather jacket. Add in some crazy orange earrings that I picked up in LA last week and I was ready for the fashion set :)
(and, no, CT, I did not get them in Hawaii!)

I will have more fashion stuff for you on www.lkisstyle.com and some fun fashion week beauty reviews on www.glossybox.ca !
As for my outfit tonight at Montreal Fashion Week?
I am inspired! What do you think about wearing white and spikes? Wait and see...
