LKISEvents: Wine Tour With IYellow Wine Club
Welcome to wine country… Was I in Napa? No. Burgundy? Nope. I was invited to go on a wine tour in Niagara, and people, it was delightful.
As it turns out, in our very own country, is an ideal spot to grow fruit and as such create wine.

Now, I am all about style, right? Well, let me tell you that there is nothing more stylish than heading on a wine tour with a few of your besties and iYellow Wine Club through this adventure in alcohol.

We boarded in Liberty Village, and hung out on the bus, complete with magazines and snacks. Our tour guide was Angela Aiello, the founder and owner of the iYellow Wine Club, which now has 10,000 members!

We made our way through the day wandering through vineyards and sampling grapes!

And, we had a catered lunch by the wine barrels! At one winery we actually sat in the fields as we did our wine tasting. Talk about drinking in style.

What to wear on a wine tour? I didn't know this stuff in advance, so I sported a cute flowery summer dress, natural H&M wedge sandals and my DKNY jacket.
Now, in retrospect I might have dressed a bit differently! I wouldn't be me if I didn't have a fashion tip or two: Flat shoes- good for walking through the fields, longer pants or skirt (sitting on the grass got a little prickley) and layers (heading inside and outside can make for some pretty different temperatures).

By the end of the trip, we were up on our Canadian wines (we make a mean white by the way), educated on the process of making wine (all wine starts as white! Who knew?!) and yes, extremely happy!

So, explore in our backyard, check out some Canadian wine and tune in for more cool wine events (wine school at the Ritz, anyone?!) with iYellow Wine Club. I know I will!
