I love the Montreal Festival Mode & Design:  
The downtown core comes alive with style, lights, music and hoards of people waiting to catch a glimpse of a runway show.  

I headed down to the festival for a cocktail party in Jeanne Beker's honour and then to watch the Edit fashion show, a lign from Jeanne at the Bay.  Jeanne is first of all the loveliest and beyond charmante and then she is also Canada's very own fashion icon, having attended fashions shows for all the majors in all cities for the television show (that any fashionista in thier right mind was obsessed with!) Fashion Television.

So, it definitely seemed fitting that she should be part of this great festival...

The streets were packed with people!

And, there were also tons of booths from different brands like Schick Hydro Silk (love the purple goddess dresses!).

We climbed a massive tower for the cocktail party and then watched Jeanne introduce her show.

The Edit line is all about wearable workable clothing for the busy girl on-the-go. 

Also enjoying the festivities, was the gorgeous Robyn Chalmers of www.fashionista514.com who looked amazing in her crisp white look and contrasting bold red lips. 

For the event, I went bohemian chic in a long tie-dye dress and some chunky silver jewelery. 

The city was alive with fashion, energy and I got to see the amazing Jeanne Beker carry on her legacy.  

And, with words like "Festival,"  "Design,"  and "Mode"  in the title, I kinda know I am going to have a good time ;)
