German DJ, Zedd, is working with Lady Gaga on her new album called ARTPOP, and in a new interview he says that he thinks what they have created is pretty cool and he can't imagine her fans not liking it. He says even though he comes from a dance background, people should not just assume the album is all electronic dance music. He says he has really worked on tracks for Gaga that are outside the scope of what he normally does. He says for example, she gave him 10 words to describe an emotion and he created music based on those ten words, Zedd says this whole process has been very experimental. ARTPOP is supposed to be released before the end of 2013.

Apple has officially announced its new mobile operating system iOS 7. Billed as the "biggest change to iOS" since the introduction of the iPhone, it has a completely revamped interface and a host of new features. " iOS 7 comes with a "flat" design, new typefaces, icons and colors, as well as translucent transition effects. Some of the features include Control Center which  allows users to easily access the camera, calculator, music, flight and sleep modes, as well as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth settings. AirDrop means photos can be shared over a peer-to-peer Wi-Fi network with multiple friends, while the camera and photos applications have been made smoother and simpler.

Rapper Kanye West is refusing to promote his new album by releasing a single, saying he couldn't care less about hitting sales targets - he only wants to make music for his fans. At a music festival on June 9th, Kanye told his fans that his new album, Yeezus, would not be backed by a massive marketing campaign, that all he cares about is making music that his fans can rock to all summer long.  

Do you think he needs to promote the album or just do what he wants?

Sounds like British singer Olly Murs is setting his eyes on the big screen. Olly says he really enjoyed shooting his recent video for his new song "Dear Darlin'" and that he enjoyed tapping into different sides of his personality. Olly says he also liked making a cameo appearance on 90210 recently and that down the road it would be interesting to take acting classes and really learn the craft. Olly doesn't just want to get an acting gig because of his singing career, he would put the work in first because it is definitely an artform and you can't just walk into it without proper training.

Kanye West is reportedly refusing to marry his girlfriend Kim Kardashian because it would damage his finances. A source says Kim is a shopaholic and among other things spends $350,000 a month on her credit cards. Kanye doesn't want to get saddled with having to pay for all of that, although you know in the end, they are parents to the same child so he will be responsible for some of her finances. There's also rumours flying around that Kim and Kanye are arguing over his desire to have the baby over in France instead of in Los Angeles. This rumour has been going around for weeks now, so it may actually carry some weight.
