Author JK Rowling launched an online book club for young readers today and will speak with her fans about the supernatural world of Harry Potter during a live web-chat on October 11th. The new site will be a tool for parents and teachers as well as children looking to discover the joy of books on their own. You can check out the site here:

The new site will also act as the number one online destination for fans of Harry Potter. By the way, JK Rowling will release her first book since the Potter franchise came to an end later this year, in a book called "The Casual Vacancy." The new novel will be her first book aimed exclusively at an adult audience.
