Willie & Allen had one single for the Sansu label in 1966. Both sides, "Baby Do Little" and "I Don't Need No One," were written by
Allen Toussaint and both are New Orleans soul with duo male vocals, somewhat in the mold of
Lee Dorsey songs like "Get Out of My Life Woman." It has been speculated that
Willie & Allen were
Allen Toussaint himself and
Willie Harper and were also the singers comprising
the Rubaiyats, who also did one single for Sansu in 1966. Both sides of the
Willie & Allen single -- and both sides of
the Rubaiyats' single, as well -- are on the Sundazed compilation Get Low Down!: The Soul of New Orleans '65-'67.
