Glenn Horiuchi is a West Coast pianist who works to combine jazz with Asian and Western classical musics. Through the '80s and '90s, he released albums on the Soul Note, Asian Improv, and Music & Arts labels and is most often found in lineups with multi-instrumentalist Francis Wong and drummer Jeanette Wrate. By the late '90s, Horiuchi had done recording with Joseph Jarman on Jarman's Pachinko Dream Track 10, and on his own release, Mercy.
