Universal’s crown jewel of their 2011
INXS reissue series is
INXS Remastered, a ten-disc box containing remastered editions of
INXS’ studio albums with
Michael Hutchence. Note that these albums are only remastered, not expanded, so the bonus tracks that were included on Rhino’s 2002 reissues of
Kick,
X, and
Welcome to Wherever You Are are absent, as are the cuts on the 2005 double-disc edition of
Kick. All this has are new remasters of the band’s core catalog, which may be enough for fans desiring a sonic upgrade.
